Independent Medical Education

Our Independent Medical Education program supports programs for healthcare providers offered by organizations seeking to improve disease awareness and patient care related to central nervous system disorders.

Our grant approval process complies with all applicable regulations and industry codes. Individuals and Healthcare Professionals, including group practices and customers, may not receive Adamas Medical Education Grants. Adamas does not provide grants for any commercial purpose.

How to apply

To apply for a grant, please download and complete our Medical Education Grant Request Form. The completed form and required supporting documents (as described in the form) should be emailed to grants@adamaspharma.com. If you have questions, please contact grants@adamaspharma.com. All requests will be reviewed within 60 days of receipt of the completed applications and submission of all the necessary information.

Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS)

Adamas may support unsolicited independent research conducted by external investigators regarding Adamas products or within Adamas’ therapeutic areas of interest. This research can provide valuable information regarding the safety, efficacy, pharmacology, and tolerability of Adamas products and related therapeutic areas.

Adamas ISS research areas of interest are not limited to but primarily include:

Parkinson’s disease

Other hyperkinetic movement disorders

Other CNS disorders

How to Apply

To apply for an investigator sponsored study (ISS) research grant, please download and complete our ISS Concept Form. The completed form and any supporting documents (as described in the form) should be emailed to iss@adamaspharma.com. All requests will be reviewed within 6 weeks of receipt of the completed ISS Concept Form and submission of all the necessary information.

The requester will be informed about the outcome and should Adamas be interested in the concept submission, the investigator will be contacted and invited to submit further details and a final protocol on the ISS to be considered for full approval.

The Director, Corporate and Product Communications at Adamas will support the development and execution of Adamas’ Corporate and Product communications strategies, develop positioning and core messaging, execute tactically, build relationships with key channels, and effectively communicate about the Company and brands to constituencies. Reporting to the VP, Communications and Engagement this person will be a main contact for advocacy relationships, forging partnerships and leading on strategic collaborations. Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing daily accounting operations including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis and ad hoc projects. The Senior accountant will be responsible for cash, payroll, and equity related accounting. The Senior Accountant will also manage and coordinate the payroll performed by our third-party service provider to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in Workday for approximately 200 multi-state employees. Additionally, this individual will routinely partner with others across multiple functions ensuring proper alignment with policies, internal controls (SOX 404) and compliance with US GAAP. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting and is based in Emeryville, CA.

Sr. Director, Commercial IT

The Senior Director, Commercial IT is responsible for serving as strategic interface with Commercial and Medical affairs organizations. Individual in this role is responsible for developing relationships with business stakeholders and serve as trusted technology advisor in addition to leading Commercial IT function and staff. Senior Director is required to maintain an understanding of Pharmaceutical commercial business processes, Commercial/Medical data & technology roadmap, design solutions, implement systems, and manage operational support for commercial IT systems. Sr. Director, IT (Infrastructure, Operations and Security)

The Sr. Director, IT is a senior level individual to lead and execute the strategy for IT infrastructure, help desk customer support, network operations and security. Individual in this role is responsible for leading IT function and staff that provides the following support to the enterprise: helpdesk and customer service, data center operations, security operations, server OS operations, network operations; storage operations and system maintenance and monitoring. He/She has overall accountability for team decisions, management, and results. Provides direction, coaches, develops, and mentors leaders within the Helpdesk and Network teams and outside those groups in addition to hands-on support as needed.
