Gregory Went, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer & Chairman
Dr. Went, founding CEO and Chairman of Adamas Pharmaceuticals, has overseen the development of the company since its inception. Previously, Dr. Went co-founded CuraGen Corporation in 1992, where he served as an Executive Vice President and Director. Dr. Went serves on the Board of Directors of Tethys Bioscience and Angelica Therapeutics and is a Managing Director of Halteres Associates. Dr. Went received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and is the author of 20 papers and an inventor on more than 50 patents and patent applications.

William Ericson, J.D.
Bill Ericson is a general partner with Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV). Mr. Ericson was a co-founder of Rosetta Inpharmatics and served on the company's Board until its acquisition by Merck in 2001. He joined MDV after 10 years of working with and investing in entrepreneurs and early stage companies, most recently as managing partner and founder of Venture Law Group's Seattle office. Mr. Ericson currently serves on the boards of several private software and life sciences infrastructure companies. Bill received his B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University of Foreign Service and J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.

Mickey Urdea, Ph.D.
Dr. Urdea was one of the first employees at Chiron where he directed the nucleic acids chemistry group and began the molecular diagnostics efforts at Chiron. He led the development of quantitative RNA and DNA assays, including the successful HIV and HCV viral load tests. In 1999, he joined Bayer Diagnostics as Senior Vice President and acting Chief Scientific Officer of Nucleic Acid Diagnostics. Dr. Urdea serves on the Boards of Quantum Dot, Tethys Biosciences, Halteres and is on the scientific advisory board of the Gates Foundation. Dr. Urdea received his Ph.D. in biochemistry at Washington State University and has published more than 185 articles and book chapters, and is an inventor on more than 100 issued and pending patents.

Ivan Lieberburg, M.D., Ph.D.
Ivan Lieberburg, PhD, MD is currently a member of the Tavistock Group, a private equity firm, where he concentrates on health care and life sciences investment opportunities. Prior to joining Tavistock in 2009, Dr. Lieberburg was employed at Elan, plc, for 22 years, where his most recent role was as Executive Vice President, Corporate Office of Technology and Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining Elan (formerly Athena Neurosciences, Inc.) in 1987, Dr. Lieberburg held faculty positions at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.

Dr. Lieberburg received an A.B. in Biology from Cornell University (1971), a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from The Rockefeller University (1976) and a MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine (1980). He performed his postdoctoral research at The Rockefeller University (1976-1978) and his medical residency and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (1980-1984), where he is presently a Clinical Professor of Medicine and attends on the in-patient medical service. He is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology/metabolism. Dr. Lieberburg has authored over 100 publications and numerous patents.

George M. Rehm, J.D.
George M. Rehm is a Managing Partner of aeris CAPITAL AG in Switzerland and has over twenty five years experience as a lawyer and executive in international licensing, technology transfer, investment and privatization transactions, involving the US, Europe and Asia, prior to commencing his current career in private equity. Currently, he holds board seats in numerous portfolio companies. Mr. Rehm remains of counsel to the Munich, Heidelberg and Berlin law firm of Weitnauer Partners. He received his BSFS from Georgetown University, and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

David L. Mahoney
David L. Mahoney is a private equity investor and currently serves as a director of Symantec Corp. and Corcept Therapeutics. Mr. Mahoney served as co-CEO of McKesson HBOC, Inc. (now McKesson Corporation, NYSE: MCK) and as CEO of McKesson LLC from July 1999 to February 2001. He joined McKesson in 1990 as Vice President for Strategic Planning, and is credited with developing innovative business strategies to grow the PCS Health System subsidiary, leading to the sale of PCS to Eli Lilly & Co. Prior to joining McKesson, Mr. Mahoney was a principal with McKinsey & Company from 1981 to 1990. Mr. Mahoney is an honors graduate from Harvard Business School and Princeton University.

Davinder S. Brar, Special Advisor
Davinder Singh Brar served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. until July 04, 2004. He served as Chairman of GVK Biosciences Private limited since 2004. He is a B.E. (Electrical) from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala and a MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi (Gold Medalist in 1974).
